This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("App") and website ("Guest Web App").

1. Information We Collect

We believe in collecting only what is necessary to provide our services:

• Phone Number: We collect your phone number strictly for authentication (Login/OTP) and account security.
• Restaurant Information: For restaurant owners, we collect the mandatory Pincode and optional Business Address to enable service localization.
• Usage Data: We may collect technical logs (server interactions) to ensure app stability and debug errors via AWS services.

2. Android App Permissions

To provide specific features, our Android App may request the following permission:

• Camera (Optional): We request camera access solely to allow restaurant owners to scan physical menu items or barcodes to add them to their digital catalog. This permission is optional, and we do not access your photo gallery or microphone.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• To verify your identity and allow you to log in.
• To manage restaurant catalogs and digital menus.
• To facilitate order management between the restaurant and the guest.
• To process ad-related payments via PhonePe (in the Guest Web App only).

4. Payments & Financial Data

• Food Orders: We do not process food order payments. Transactions between the Guest and the Restaurant Owner happen externally (e.g., via UPI, Cash). We do not store banking details for these transactions.
• Advertisements: For optional advertising services in the Guest Web App, payments are processed via PhonePe. We do not store your credit card or banking information on our servers.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We utilize trusted third-party service providers to operate our platform:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS): For secure cloud hosting and data storage.
• PhonePe: For processing payments related to platform advertising features.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, please note that no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

7. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide our services and for legitimate business purposes (such as maintaining financial records for tax compliance).

Requesting Account Deletion:

If you wish to delete your account and associated personal data, you may do so by following these steps:

• Use the subject line: "Request for Account Deletion".
• Please include your registered phone number to help us verify your identity.

Upon receiving your request, we will verify your identity and proceed with the deletion of your account information within 30 days, subject to any legal obligations we may have to retain specific transaction records.
